George Breslaw established his plumbing company at the beginning of the great depression in 1929, opening the original shop in lower Manhattan. During the 1950's George Breslaw decided to move the business to Hell's Kitchen, the office and shop of Breslaw Plumbing has been a fixture in Hell's Kitchen ever since. With its location at 11th Avenue and 45th Street even tourists are interested in what happens behind the walls of "George Breslaw Plumbing LLC." Tourists can be seen taking pictures of the "Copper Man" perched on the top of the Breslaw Plumbing building. After George his son's Milton and Richard took over the business in the 1970's and brought Breslaw Plumbing into the new millennia. Today the third generation of Breslaws own and operate the day to day functions of their grandfathers company. Michael and Seth Breslaw are the sons of Richard and are proud to maintain their family tradition of providing plumbing to New York City whether big or small of the highest quality.
